Stay tuned throughout the year as we showcase each Mentor who will sport the latest looks from Van Heusen and share some life and style advice as well as take you on their personal journey of success…

“To be happy, try and find something that you love, something that doesn’t disadvantage other human beings but is only a gift to other people. I’m thrilled to be working with Van Heusen as together, we’ll be launching a scholarship for the John Mac Foundation which helps anyone touched by misfortune to get ahead.” – Deng Adut, Defense Lawyer & Refugee Advocate

“I’m more comfortable on Kokoda than I am being part of a fashion shoot. But we don’t have enough people with disabilities in campaigns, let alone in the fashion industry. I remember as a kid, there were times when I would see people with disabilities on TV or in the newspaper and I related to it so much. I had never seen Paralympic sport until I was 13, so I don’t want the next generation to be unfamiliar with leaders in our sporting community who have disabilities. Working with Van Heusen on this campaign will no doubt have a profound and positive impact and it’s an association I’m incredibly excited about,” -Kurt Fernley, three-time Paralympic Gold Medalist.

The common thread running through each Mentor’s story is their never ending quest for success despite all odds. Sharing similar stories to Van Heusen ‘Mentors’ before them - such as former refugee and leading Bionic Fusion Surgeon, Dr Al Muderis Munjed and AFL Captain, Jarrad McVeigh, - their aim is to encourage and inspire Australian men. In our continued bid to be the blueprint for success in our consumers’ lives we sought out these leaders in their fields. We bring you the athletes, the visionaries, the humanitarians, the creatives, those that never say stop to drive you to be the best you can be.
